LEARNING AND TEACHING

We are learning and teaching to enable and facilitate effective change in investment planning and evaluation. This will involve:

• Co-development and user led design at the core of the project;

• The building of capacity and awareness in government, business, the insurance industry, the investment sector, not for profits and civil society moving beyond Environmental Impact assessment (EIA) and Environmental and Social Governance (ESG);

• Mainstreaming of effective sustainable development strategies for agriculture and urban environments with a focus on employment and economy, as well as the environment;

• Learning lessons, through understanding successes and failures, for adaptive planning and policy learning;

• Communicating the resulting knowledge, tools and experience to support existing urban and farmland communities, and their development initiatives, the Green New Deal, European Recovery Fund and the UK Farm and Environment Bills to deliver for both people and the environment.

  • We are also developing an educational toolkit to make our sensors and tools available in your classroom. A Spanish language flyer and a more detailed Spanish language information pack are linked (English language kits will be available early 2023).
