LINKING to PoLICY AND INVESTMENT

We are linking the technological developments made with existing local and European protocols and legislation to ensure the advances and tools produced mesh properly with plausible policy levers for implementation including: 

• Finance: post-COVID-19 economic stimuli, emerging markets in green, catastrophe and municipal bonds, insurance; impact investment, conservation finance, and especially its alignment with the EU Plan on Sustainable finance and EU Taxonomy; 

• Policy: the EU water framework directive and Floods Directive, the revised CAP, the Food to Fork strategy, the Biodiversity Strategy, the upcoming adaptation strategy, etc; 

• People: flood action groups, community resilience groups, farmers unions, conservation organisations, local councils, irrigation communities, land and water custody initiatives, etc.
