Welcome to ReSET

ReSET (Restarting Economy in Support of Environment, through Technology) was a research and development project supported by Horizon2020 and focused on Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) in Environmental Intelligence. It ran January  2020 to July 2024.  This website archives the objectives, work and outputs of the project.

Environmental intelligence is the combination of a range of data streams with models and algorithms, alongside artificial intelligence approaches in order to better understand - and to better manage - the environment. 

ReSET is leveraging technological developments in spatial modelling, artificial intelligence and environmental sensing to better understand pathways to ReSET agricultural and urban development across Europe by working with the relevant stakeholders to develop and test more sustainable new ways of farming and of urban development. 

ReSET is supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 FET Proactive Programme (now part of the pathfinder programme of the European Innovation Council) under grant agreement No 101017857.  It is one of five sister projects which include I-Seed, RAMONES, SmartLagoon and WatchPlant
